| | I love college football, but I must admit that I watch the games many times to evaluate the talent potentially avialable in the college draft. In that vein, here are some of the players that caught my eye: 1. J. Cunningham - DE - Florida He looks fast as a pass rusher but I am not sure he will hold up at the point of attack. 2. Tim Jamison - DE - Michigan He is very intriguing as a mid-round DE that could be a solid backup in the pros. 3. Doral Scott - DT - Clemson He has got a big buttock, but the fact that Alabama ran over him did not help his case. Still an interesting prospect. 4. Antonio Caldwell - C - Alabama This guy is a solid Rd 2 selection who really helped Bama run the ball last night. 5. Brandon McCrae - WR - Miss St. Sure he is a Jr, but if he comes out in the 2009 draft, I think he is the prefect replacement for Reggie Williams. I love his size at 6'4" 210 Lbs and he seems to have very good speed. More importantly he catches the ball with his hands. I think he is a Rd 4 or Rd 5 pick that could develop into a very nice No. 2 WR. |

| Utah K/P Louie Sakoda - Hit four field goals including one for 53 yards. He also showed some great distance on punts.
Future Jaguars: Boo Robinson, Bear Pascoe

Sakoda was brilliant yesterday. Only reason the Utes won. The offense did their best to give UM the game. |

| Wake Forest DT Boo Robinson had another solid game. He put pressure on the Baylor QB and recovered a fumble. Remember that name. He is a junior that has the size and speed that you look for in an NFL tackle.

| He hasn't played yet this weekend but also watch Fresno State tight end Bear Pascoe. They play Rutgers tomorrow. He is a complete tight end. You will hear his name early next April.

" The Jaguars will tank: Jacksonville has mishandled the quarterback position and both candidates — Byron Leftwich, designated the starter, and David Garrard — are shaky. Daunte Culpepper may be a possibility, but he also ranks as an unknown commodity these days.
That uncertainty, the slow development of receivers and the difficulty finding big plays more than offset a nice backfield combination of Fred Taylor and Maurice Jones-Drew and a high-ranking defense.
This will be Coach Jack Del Rio's last season in Jacksonville "

| | CJ Spiller's kickoff return was pretty electric. but for some reason the genius known as Tommy Bowden only had Spiller touch the ball 4 times on offense. id be so mad if i was a clemson fan.

| I know of a WR who personally knows a friend of mine. he used to go to Boise St. but transfered to Utah or Utah St. (I don't remember which) and is a great receiver. his name is Aiona Key. I've seen his highlights and he's a monster!!
also the C/G at Stanford graduated from a private school near me. he played G mostly but I heard he's an even better C. he was projected as a 5th rounder if he entered as a Junior at G. so as a more polished senior and playing at his natural position C I think he can only be better and would be great as an heir apparent to Meester if Miller isn't what we hoped for...
| Reggie Williams + David Garrard = 10 TD's! | |
