Beanie Wells out for the season with a blown achillies according to initial reports.

He hurt it in the 3rd quarter of today's game.

What position does he play? If he's not the QB then it shouldn't be a huge dropoff for the team.

He's their All-American RB.

That's a HUGE loss for that team,  the way they play offense.

Really? I heard he limped off the field but didn't hear that it was this serious. Yeah it is a big blow because he's one of the best RBs in the nation and a huge part of their offense.

dam... beanie was supposed to be a top 10 pick if he did well this year. thats a tremendous blow. not just for Ohio St. but for him it probably caused him to slide to late round 1 or even round 2 and cost him millions.

Reggie Williams + David Garrard = 10 TD's!

Awesome. I hate Ohio State, and I hate Wells. "Beanie" is probably the gayest nickname in the entire United States.

I thought I heard the x-rays were negative.

Maybe that was someone else.. I'm too hung-over.

I'm rooting for OSU to make it to the NC game.

I want to see how many consecutive years they can get there and lose.
