I haven't seen him start a weekly thread about Byron.

| | watched the game and byron almost had a huge TD pass but replayed showed limas sweeds butt on the ground before foot #2. he was hit as he threw it 40 yards to endzone corner. it was very close also limas dropped another easy 30 yarder down the sideline. if leftwich is cut he owes limas a beating. there were at least 3 3rd down pass plays where he threw the ball well short of the markers to checkdowns, and one was really embarassing because he threw is short of the out pattern wr's feet. so he looked good and bad and what else is new.

It depends on what it is, generally it's not people talking about his actual play. It's ignorant stuff like the OP, who probably didn't watch any of the Steeler preseason games.
You want to talk about people obsessed with him, look at TMD, jagabc, and RM27.

It's ignorant stuff like the OP, who probably didn't watch any of the Steeler preseason games. You want to talk about people obsessed with him, look at TMD, jagabc, and RM27. he's right, I am obsessed with byron. But I am equally obsessed with chad pennington, marcus stroud, jamarcus russell, ernest wilford, jonathan vilma, ricky williams, david garrard, dan orlovsky (GO UCONN) reggie williams, joey harrington, vernon gholston, mike walker, lee evans jerry porter, chris perry, alge crumpler... the list is very long but these guys are all players I followed very closely. Like most, I consider myself a fantastic evaluator of talent - or in byron's case- the lack thereof. As I just brought up emphatically in another post- I HATE the choice of will james. In case there still is any doubt- or if you are new here- I hated the pick of byron, I though he was awful, his mechanics are ridiculous for a QB. It was as if he refused to be trained since pee wee football and he had no decision making skills in his head. He was sloppy, clumsy, and missed wide open receivers by throwing the ball 4 feet in front of them in the turf- or over their heads. Also I was a garrard supporter since 2002- so it was really really tough to NOT have a strong opinion about lefty's QB inadequacies. Unfortunately I was lumped in with the racist football know-nothings who also hated byron.

Remember, I Love you. You love me. Etc. etc. Clearly you are trying to pick a fight with me. Fair enough, I'll play. Someone with your extensive "experience" should have noticed and comprehended the fact that I explained why I said what I did, and said in plain English that I would stop if it bothered him. Now, is that what an instigator does, or is the post that I am responding to a better example of instigation. You be the judge, smart guy. Also, for the record, the problems go much deeper than TMD starting crap. You are a master of it as well. I probably won't continue on that quest simply because as long as there are who look to start this type of BS, it has no end in sight. Some of you just get off on stewing in controversy and misery. If that's how you enjoy living your life, by all means, don't let me stop you.

And this is what I would swoop in on.
Horrible hyperbole.
