I think that Khalif Barnes will be re-signed before the end of the season. I think the Jags will offer him a 4 year - 26.5 Mil contract with 10 Mil signing bonus. This will allow Khalif to get one more big contract before his career ends.

I believe that Charles Spencer will end the season as the starting ORG and will be the favorite to keep his starting spot in 2009.

I see the Jags ending with a record of 11-5 and drafting a No. 26 in every round of the draft.

I predict that the Jags will trade their Rd 1 (26) and their Rd 3 (90) to move up in Rd 1 to Pick 20. Here is who I think they pick.

Rd 1(20): Ciron Black - OT - LSU - 6'5" 328 5.29/40 (Jr. Entry)

I think that the Jags will start Ciron Black at the OLG spot next to Khalif Barnes. This will give Manuwai more time to recover from his knee injury.

Rd 2(58): John Fletcher - DE - Wyoming - 6'6" 280 Lbs 4.86/40 (Jr)

Jags tap another Jr entry who they envision as a LDE that can rush the passer. In 2007, Fletcher had 10.5 sacks albeit against the Moutain West Conference.

Rd 4(122): Demonte Boldin - DT - Tennessee - 6'5" 292 Lbs 4.98/40

The Jags tap another Tennessee DT to help fill their DT rotation.

Rd 5(154): Jason Williams - OLB - W. Illinios - 6'1" 236 Lbs 4.59/40

Jags find another small school gem who can really run and hit. 2007 stats: 107 TT; 16.5 TFL and 8 sacks.

Rd 6(186): Mike Wallace - WR - Miss - 6'0" 185 Lbs 4.38/40

Jags tap a speedy slot WR that can also double as a return specialist.
