Let me be clear about one thing... I support the rights of the G/B/L/TG/TS/CD community. Exactly what rights are those? Are they defined in the Constitution?
The same rights given to you and everyone else in this country.
So why is always defined as "gay rights"?

Murdered Gay Boy’s Family Blames School for Letting Him Wear Makeup VENTURA, California — The family of a gay teenager who was fatally shot in class blames the school district for allowing their son to wear makeup and feminine clothing to school — factors the family claims led to the death. The parents and brother of 15-year-old Larry King of Oxnard filed a personal injury claim against the Hueneme school district seeking unspecified damages for not enforcing the dress code, The Ventura County Star reported. King, an eighth-grader at E.O. Green Junior High School, was shot in February. Classmate Brandon McInerney pleaded not guilty to the shooting last week. He was charged as an adult and also faces a charge of a committing a hate crime. The family's claim, filed last week in Ventura County Superior Court, said administrators and teachers failed to enforce the school's dress code when King wore feminine clothing and makeup to school. His parents, Dawn and Gregory King, said faculty members knew their son had "unique vulnerabilities" and was subject to abuse because of his sexual orientation. King was a ward of the court and living at a shelter for abused, neglected and emotionally troubled children at the time of the shooting. A call for comment to district Superintendent Jerry Dannenberg was not immediately returned. State law requires individuals to file a claim before proceeding with a lawsuit against a public agency. http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,404502,00.html Sounds to me like the "parents" are the ones to blame for allowing a 15 year old kid to think that he is gay and allowed him to dress like that. I know that my parents were sure able to control my thoughts. Crafty parents and their mind control machines. The lawn mower....that was their friggin mind control machine.....No wonder they always wanted me to push that stupid thing around....
It all makes sense now... The whir of the blades must be the exact frequency needed for brainwashing.

The same reason that you would say "women's rights" or "minority rights".
You already know that, though. Just come out and say what you think instead of fishing for someone to say that they do not have equal rights, it'll save a boatload of time.

It's not about "mind control" at all. It's all about being raised what most people would call normally. In this case, the parents obviously allowed their kid to dress that way, and now they want to blame it on the government school system.
At 15 years of age, a CHILD is still going through puberty and doesn't have a sexual identity.

BJORN TOURAQUE (8/15/2008) I understood all of the abbreviations up to "CD". Is that "Cross Dresser"? If so, someone care to elaborate on what the difference is between that and a transvestite?Well since you're too stupid to know the difference I'll let you know. A cross-dresser is for example, a male that dresses up like a female. A transvestite is a person that might have once been male and undergoes surgery to change to a female.
I am amazed at your understanding and acceptance of all of this.
What's the difference between Transvestite and Transgendered?
Thanks for being the expert here, I really have to salute you for your openness.

To THINK he is gay?
So, what, he was a straight guy who just happened to be attracted to males?
I'm a Conservative and I find your stance deplorable.

If you're not allowing him to form his own opinions then how are you not trying to control their thoughts?
At 15 years of age a CHILD is in the middle stages of puberty and doesn't have a FULLY DEVELOPED sexual identity, btw. That doesn't mean they have no idea of their own sexual inclinations.
For the record, I agree with you that the parents are looking in the wrong place for who to blame their son's death on. IMO it rests solely in the hands of the killer.
