| Did the Ocho Cinco thing start with that NFL Network commercial a few years ago? That was the first time I had heard it.

He knows that, listen to him say it at the Pro Bowl last year: http://www.nfl.com/videos?videoId=09000d5d80692e15 He probably thinks half the commentators and fans can't pronounce it correctly so he changed it, eight five is still the same thing as eighty five visually. He went to Barcelona to see Thierry Henry in the offseason so I think his grasp of Spanish is better than you'd imagine. I much prefer him to TO as a person, I always get the feeling TO is putting on an act to get media coverage, even when he's well behaved it's a story, whereas 85 is more about having fun plus TO plays for the most overhyped team in the league.

Well stated ruger, I stand corrected.
In fact, he looks like a pretty decent fellow in that vid.
I will try to refrain from posting from ignorance in the future, but I can't make any promises.

Only a story because the media makes it into one.
The media loves TO because he gets them ratings. The same cannot be said for Chad, I'm too scared to fight for yards, Johnson

Do you remember when he spat in DeAngelo Hall's face? He's a disgrace! Oh and speaking of scared: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qskKhNhXaVc

| DeAngelo kept talking smack even though he was getting owned on the field.
He deserves a collective spit in the face from every fan of the NFL.
I like how people hate TO.. yet love Ray Lewis the murderer.
TO has never committed a crime - yet people still hate him.
I'm sorry - did he ever invite the media anywhere? Nope. The media flocks to TO and he just gives them a show - he's an entertainer.

| | Too bad Chad is not enough of a man to keep his word!!! He spoke all offseason about never playing another down as a Bengal and that he would retire if not traded. The Bengals called his bluff and he now pathetically trying to steer questions to another topic. Score one for the Bengals front office for standing up for the team and putting a pre-madonna WR in his place.
