Funny how Jerry Porter is called a turd by somebody who wanted the Jags to take this clown.

Yes,....

identical comparison.

I didn't realize Gaither cost 10 MIL gauranteed in addition to 6 MIL per.

Silly me, I thought Gaither was merely a 5th round draft choice that cost essentially peanuts.

So Gaither is "merely a 5th round draft choice". Yet when James Wyche was waived, he was a bust as a 7th round pick.

2 different arguments.

I was responding to the person that was trying to compare the amount of risk between the Gaither & Porter acquisitions.

If Gaither doesn't pan out, yeah, the pick will be a bust. Just like any selection that doesn't pan out.

However, Gaither, actually has accumulated some PT in an NFL game.....can we say the same for Wyche? We got essentially nothing at all from Wyche. Yes, it is not really a bg deal since 7th rounders rarely turn out to be much anyway, although some teams at least get something useful out of them, like special teams contributions or other.

We got -nothing- at all from Wyche.

What exactly are the Ravens getting from Gaither? A big fat lazy turd who is hurt and shows up late for practice.
