2003 - Troy Polalamu- DB

2004 - Ben Roelisthberger - QB

2005 - Heath Miller - TE

2006 - Devin Hester - DB/KR/WR

2007 - Dwayne Bowe - WR

2008 - Ryan Clady - OT

Mine would look something like this. Yeah, the Steelers had some pretty good picks while we were drafting our busts.

Devin Hester in the first round? LOL. Right.

Mine would be:

2003: Terrell Suggs, DE
2004: Dunta Robinson, CB (What?? No Big Ben??? I'm basing this off what we know now, with Garrard)
2005: Lofa Tatupu, LB
2006: Taitusi Lutui, OG
2007: Anthony Gonzalez, WR
2008: Leodis McKelvin, CB if we trade up, Calais Campbell if we stay at 26.

LOL!  Yeah, Taitusi Lutui has had a much bigger impact in the NFL than Devin Hester.  Once again you show your stellar talent evaluation skills.  You'd rather have Anthony Gonzalez over Dwayne Bowe?  Good one.

Devin Hester is a SPECIAL TEAMER.

Do you know how many Special Team players are in the Hall of Fame?

Zero.

If he was anything other than a guy at WR - he might be worth a first rounder. But he's not.

He's taken out of a game by, guess what, kicking away from him.

Yea but kicking away from him causes shanks, causes breakdowns in protection because they're so worried about him, and causes a loss of field position because they can't kick it as far.  I'm not condoning the pick, I'm just saying even when they kick away from him he still has an impact.

actually pope your wrong there is a kicker in the hall of fame... and Devin adds an extra dimension to your team and forces teams to gameplan for him whether at WR or returning they need to have a strategy since the guy is just explosive!! I can see the argument for drafting him.

Reggie Williams + David Garrard = 10 TD's!

Offensive lineman > Kick Returners you can eliminate from the game.

Yes I'd take Gonzalez over Bowe. We've got plenty of big YAC WR's. Gonzalez is a deep threat.

0 teams will gameplan for Hester at WR. He was too dumb to learn the offensive playbook at Miami.

Here is what Hester will run at WR: Go, slant.

Done game planning. Bump him at the line.

If Hester was just any average returner, I may agree.  But he changes games in the blink of an eye.  OG's don't do much of that the last time I checked.  The difference between a Pro Bowl OG and an average one is not very much, and we have above average OG's already.  Hester would add the "it" factor, electricity  and TD's to the Jags.  End of story.

So you're going to draft a guy in the first round, just to return kicks?
