Doesn't matter, he's long gone.  As in a year ago.

It's over.  Why re-hash?

Go Jags.

 TMD on Mike Walker Sep.7:
"because he stinks"
"Why don't you get it? WTH has this player done, besides be an OTA wonder?"
"In the exhibition games, he's shown eggo hands."
"It's like you people are truly shocked/ mystified/ surprised that Harris produced another bust."

Punter Mitch Berger also just  singed with the Steelers for more money. $830,000 per year compared to Byron's $605,000 per year.

Oh how the mighty have fallen...

Salt on the wound. Wow. Then if he plays bad for Pitt its really over for him. HE might not ever get a backup job again.

It's a great decision.

1. He's on a team for the duration of a season not injured.
2. Ben is usually good to miss 1-2 games a season, so he would probably get a start.
3. He'd have a better shot signing with a team after a year of being a No. 2 100% healthy.

Why sign with a team that really don't plan on keeping u. Batch will be back, and then what will he do? He keeps going to the first team that calls. No patience. After looking at the Cowboys preseason game, they'll need a backup soon and many other teams. He should've just waited for a better opportunity.

I'm sure you have the best interests in mind for Leftwich...basher.

When did I become a Leftwich basher. I've always supported Byron. I just think he jumps on the 1st opportunity far too often. I'm one of the few that think he could start in the league if he didn't get injured every year.

He's turned down 5-6 offers to be a back up on other teams.

'Dude was working at McDonalds before Pitt called.....

Beggars can't be choosers.

The reality is YOU have a better chance of work for McDonald's rather than Byron Leftwich, who is a millionaire.

"5-6 teams", alfie. Lessee, one CFL and three Pop Warners are all that come to mind -- which one (or two) am I missing?

The irony is that had the Jags picked Suggs instead of the bust Leftwich, Roethlisberger was there for the Jags' pick in the following draft.

And let me guess... We'd have won a Super Bowl already with Roethlisberger? The Jaguars were taking whoever was left out of Palmer and Leftwich. That stuck out like a sore thumb.

He turned down 5-6 offers from bad teams to be a back up. I'm sorry you can't come to realize he's not Akili Smith, like you would like to believe.
