The new guy needs to step it up.
The "move those chains" chant is to be "kicked off" after EVERY first down by the PA announcer, and it's to be done with some enthusiasm. We have a nice tradition brewing as a fanbase, and it needs to be upheld. Last year, the announcer would say "good for a Jacksonville ... FIRST DOWN!"..
Crowd: Blublablu.....yadda yadda yadda...
This guy never said "first down", he wanted the crowd to say it.
All the rest is nothing to me because I rarely pay attention to the announcer anyway.
This is the one aspect of his job that he must execute flawlessly.
Don't make me come up there! 
Exactly. He needs to say the FIRST DOWN part, and we take it from there. It goes along way towards sychrinizing the entire chant.
It seems minor, but it makes a lot of difference, as you can see by crowd participation. Tell the announcer here, Done... Thanks for the link.

| | He was pretty bad. But I still think he'll be better than the guy we had before. I was really hoping we'd find a good replacement for that "move those chains" chant, but it never really bugs me until I start to sober up in the second half anyway... |

| | i thought i heard that scott thomas was part of the radio broadcast now. i am sure i heard his name mentioned on the radio after the game as part of the supporting cast. not sure if it was 1010xl or 690. |

| Anyone notice he got the distances wrong on the FG attempts? He was 2 yards over on every estimate. Is it really that hard? Yard line plus seven for the placement, plus 10 for the endzone. Was I the only one that caught this?
