| but we were doomed to a 9-7 record and part of that was because we didnt have wilford anymore.
here goes TMD, spinning his words again!
Rashean the I-N-T Machine Mathis- best CB in the game
TMD's "predictions" so far for 08 season:
-Minnesota and Philly in the NFC championship game with Minnesota in the Superbowl
-Denver Broncos in the AFC championship game
-Houston a top 5 rushing team in the 09 season
-Houston seeded higher in the playoffs than the jags
- jags finishing 9-7 at best
- Browns finish better than the Jags
-Jags finish last in the AFC South after a bad showing in the preseason
TMD and I have a bet for $100 on the Jags wins
-Denver winning the AFC West LOL
-Bengals over Jags 24-21

and there you go, once again, taking one part of something I said, and trying to make it be the sole reason.
I said that the loss of Wilford would CONTRIBUTE to the Jaguars going 9-7 this season, along with other reasons that I listed.
Like I said before, your reading comprehension really sucks.
Congratulations to the 2008 WORLD Champions, your Philadelphia Phillies!

Right?

Well, when that 40 catch guy was one of the better WR's on the team in 1st down receptions from 3rd downs.....yeah. He will be missed, until proven otherwise.

| | I miss ernest already. In all seriousness, I would rather be looking at #19 out there instead of matt jones, djuan woods, john broussard, troy...err I mean clyde edwards, and until further notice = mike walker. until reggie, troy, and jerry get back onto the field we might have a wr issue kids. I know, preseason, preseason, preseason.

I think its your reading comprehension that sucks. He said and PART of that was because Wilford is gone. Contribute = part. He never said it was the sole reason.
And, you never responded about Wilford being relegated to working with 2nd-teamers. But he still would have been a better option than Jerry Porter. Wilford is being surpassed by guys like Derek Hagan, but hes still better than Porter.

| The Mad Dog (8/10/2008) I think Miami knows da-- well that Wilford isn't a WR1. I think Wilford being named the WR1 is a psychological ploy on the part of the coaching staff in hopes to motivate/ light a fire under the other WR's like Hagan & Ginn Jr to up their games' and earn the top spots on the depth chart.
Parcells, Ireland & Sparano are too smart to take the Wilford at WR1 at face value.
Now Shack, OTOH..... or could it be that the Dolphins FO was really considering wilford as a possible WR1?
Riding the Brian Witherspoon bandwagon. ______________________________________________________________ Titansfan9157 (8/24/2007) VY is already a top 5 QB in this league. He just wins games. And no need for Fred Taylor or MJD we have Chris Henry... he will be better then both of them after this year. Just like Vince Young was last year. BOOK IT. | |

| The Dolphins should have drafted Brady Quinn in the 1st and Tony Ugoh in the 2nd and WR James Jones in the 3rd. They would have been a lot better off than going with Ginn, Beck and Lorenzo Booker . Yuck.
