Keith Rivers - LB - Cincinnati Bengals

Aug 4, 2008

The Bengals are closing in on a deal with first-round pick Keith Rivers, according to Profootballtalk.com.

It appears Monday's depth chart listing Rivers as third string may have expedited talks. The camps haven't reached an accord to this point mostly because No. 8 choice Derrick Harvey is unsigned. Rivers was the ninth overall pick. The 10th pick, Jerod Mayo, signed a five-year, $18.9 million pact with the Patriots. That deal included $13.8 million guaranteed.

You'd better find that tall building to leap off of quickly, whimp.

I got to camp for the first time tonight, and from what I watched, Harvey is hurting no one more than himself.
Williams is bringin' it from EVERYWHERE!!

Any stand-outs? Is Groves looking good? Alfie was saying he's been inconsistent.

Maybe I missed where he complained? Sometimes I think people rag on TMD because everyone is doing it and it must be cool to follow them.

The #10 pick didn't sign for much at all. Of course, a high percentage of his contract is guaranteed. I wouldn't mind a contract similar to his.

He didn't complain....some of the genuses above just are scared if they don't rag on TMD the "cool" kids on the MB won't like them anymore.

Alfie also didn't think Garrard would lead the Jags above 7-8 wins, when he heard the news that JDR had cut Leftwich.

I wouldn't worry too much about what Alfie thinks.

Congratulations to the 2008 WORLD Champions, your Philadelphia Phillies!

Tell us your evaluation of what's going on at camp, whimp.  I'm dying to hear it.

Oh, you haven't been there.

Let's try something that falls into your expertise.  Quinn Gray is the best QB on the Jags roster.

I wouldn't worry too much about what you think since any thought comes from a postion of barstool diva ignorance.

Groves had a very quiet practice.

Of course, by saying that, a certain bed wetting diva will declare him a bust.

I also said Reggie Williams wouldn't be cut and Charles Sharon would.

I also said we'd hire Dirk Koetter when everyone was like "Who?".

I also said Ernest Wilford wouldn't be resigned.

I also said Maurice Williams would be resigned.

I can go on and on about what I'm right about.

Why don't we talk about what you saw at camp TMD?

How long are people like you, Breeze, and shag going to hold onto the Leftwich card? I was wrong about it, as were a ton of people. Not sure what else you expect to get out of it.

Del Rio was right!

I don't put much on watching line play at camp...there's no way to evaluate no hitting drills for them., and I think at this point they are all tired of not being able to finish.

He DID a nice job carrying TWO sets of vet's gear off the field tho

for the record....

I have aleays given you mad props for the Dirk Koetter suggestion.

I remember you were the first one to even bring the possibility up, far before anyone else reported it.

I just like to bust your chops on Garrard, because you were such a blind loyalist to Byron for whatever reason.
