Because the developers still have his gear from his rookie year. Who bets that Jones-Drew lands the cover for Madden 10? That might not be to far of a stretch given as much air time as he receives, how much everybody loves him, how marketable he is as a result... if the Jags do good this year and MJD has another 2,000 yard combined season... he very well might be a top candidate for the cover of Jones-Drew, I mean, Madded '10.

Madden/EA needs to stop pumping the same game out every year and just slapping a new year on the cover. If they still have his "old gear" from 2006, then is it really Madden '09?

Ifthey still have his "old gear" from 2006, then is it really Madden '09? His rookie year they had his name as Maurice Drew-Jones. And wouldn't let you change it. Annoyed the hell out of me.
