I actually agree with his 9-7 prediction, our schedule is tougher and who knows if Garrard and Fred can have pro bowl caliber years again? Who knows if our secondary is actually any better? Although I agree with TMD here, his constant whining and repeating it in every thread and then starting a thread about it gets really really old, really really quick. Who cares if our secondary's better. Is the pass rush better? That's the real question. Garrard didn't play like a probowler last year IMO and we don't need him to play like one this year. He just needs to limit the mistakes. Thanks for bringing up another point. We're relying on 2 rookies. That's another question mark. No, we're not relying on two rookies. They're expected to be part of the process certainly, but we're relying on Reggie Hayward and Paul Spicer first and foremost, and both of them are having a solid camp thus far. And I know you have no clue about James Wyche, but he's going to exceed your expectations. Add to the fact that the Jaguars defensive scheme is going to be very different from last year. The pass rush doesn't necessarily HAVE to come from the DE position at all. If you were out at practice, you'd realize very quickly that a lot of the pressure is coming from blitzers streaking into the backfield.

you must be joking mad dog predicting 9-7 for the jaguars in 08'. out of curiosity what do you think about the colts record next year since manning is out until the season starts and as well as the patriots with 15 players on the pup list. 
Let's not get started with theories about the Pats and their PUP list.
