| copycat781 (7/28/2008) What is the fascination with fantasy football? Keeps me away from porn. HA !!! Actually, it's a good way to compete with friends and try to outsmart one another as being your own personal GM and making your own decisions. Decisions such as whether to accept a trade offer of no name Ryan Grant (Packers RB) for Steven Jackson (Rams RB) make for great conversation.... would you have risked that last year after week 8 ? You don't want to give up a big name but then you look at Grant rushing for 100 yds per game and getting 2 tds per game ... while Jackson is struggling & nursing an injury and is listed as "probable" for the upcoming week. Most owners would NOT make the trade because big names are hard to depart with.

| | I've been playing for a little over 10 years now, before the internet hoopla and hype, and as has been stated here I do it mostly to keep in contact with friends I dont get to see as much as Id like anymore, and it really does broaden your knowledge and interest in what's going on with the 31 other teams in the league. I know it's made me a better football fan and appreciate the Jags even more knowing that one of these teams is from my hometown, especially living up in New England.
My little girl has her teal & black on, how bout your kid?

Try firefox, you can surf both at the same time!
I always come to my conclusions by careful, scientific observation.
But only if the results of said careful, scientific observation fully corroborate my biased opinion. If It Ain't Dutch, It Ain't Much
