| When gas was $2- $2.50 a gallon a few years ago, you got the same deal....the margin for GATE and other stores like it is very thin on gas anyway..... they are trying to drive traffic for folks to come inside, get their coupons, and while in there, buy something else... that's it... My guess, is if people just get 10 gallons and no more, they lose money... they only make some when folks go inside or get in the habit and continue going after football season....
I try to go to GATE year round because they are a local company and support the Jags with this promotion.....

| I love GATE and I love their commercials especially the one with all the dudes hiking soda through the store. lol classic stuff. If only my gas tank held more than 11 gallons and wasn't a hybrid I would think this was a steal but I only fill up twice, twice and a half each month. So I only get 4 jaguar dollars a month. :/ I guess I need to drive the FJ more. GUZZEL GAS!

D+In years past I think you only had to buy 8 gallons, oh well something is better than nothing. Especially when you drive a Tahoe. Shhh it's paid for so I don't mind the gas quite as much.

Mine, too. It seems that if fans didn't use it that much it wouldn't hurt the organization to KEEP it, dollar-wise. LOL

It was 8 gallons the first couple of years Gate had to promotion but they pushed it to 10 a couple of years ago... I think the found too many people or businesses filling every day.. It seemed to work as they didn't run out the last couple of years before the season was over....

I really enjoyed that perk when my husband was driving to and from Lake City every dau. We ate very well at the stadium during those years! |

anunley (7/23/2008) When are you allowed to start buying gate gas to get the 2 dollars for the stadium? Do you get the bucks from the stadium or from the gas station? You bring the Gate coupons to the stadium in exchange for Jag dollars.... Can we start pumping the gas now? This morning I saw a sign out in front of my local Gate that the "Jag Dollars" started August 1. |
