BUT... you seem to forget Dexter....eeerrrr I mean TMD... there is and always have been a BIG difference between ALWAYS and three years...Yep, and if you could read, I admitted fault on that. Who's dexter? FOR REAL... after arguing that you didn't say such a thing you admitted it... WELL... if someone hadn't proved you wrong you still would be arguing that you were right...wouldn't you Dexter... eeerrrr I mean TMD... Funny how the truth suddenly refreshes one mind...

Its great to know how much power I have over some of these ppl on this board. To the extent that they go to the effort of retaining posts I made years ago.
Anywho, shag 52, that post has little to do with what I felt Garrard "could do" for us in the future.
At the time, the consensus was that JDR was steadfast with sticking with Leftwich for better or for worse.
Thus, with Garrard, seemingly never going to get the chance to be the full time starter as long as Leftwich was around, it was my opinion that we should try and get a draft pick in return for the asset and use that draft pick to fill other needs on the team.
I initially spoke of that idea following the 2005 season when Garrard's value was high after the 5-1 finish. At the time I compared Garrard's 5-1 finish to what AJ Feeley did in Philly at the end of the 2002 (2003?) season finishing 4-1 for an injured Mcnabb & the Eagles parlaying that finish into a trade of Feeley to Miami for a 2nd round pick.
I did chastize Harris for not following what I felt was good advice there.
As it went Leftwich started the 2006 year, got hurt again, and Garrard played extensively in 2006. Since he had the poor finish in 2006, I felt that any value Garrard built up the previous year was shot. I felt Harris missed an opportunity. Thus that post you saved.
Keep twying shag52....I'm sure if you keep on this vindictive vendetta of yours, you can find something that is legit to nab me on....I mean heck, we already know nate saves posts of mine from 3 years ago....I know you can do better!It's funny how you think you've got "power" over anything as much as you lie, spin, back-crawl and try to twist your way out of things your money-maker... your mouth gets you into... Go back and find the post where you said half the bull-sh$t you are saying now... I found (had and still got more) stuff you said about Garrard in 2007 even AFTER you said you had Garrard ranked higer than Leftwich in 2007... Good try Dexter...eeerrr I mean TMD... but like I told you before... your sh$t might float with some people on here... but both me and you knows it doesn't float on this end no matter how you try to spin it...
If you have pre-disposed judgment on my takes up there, then it is pointless to go any further. You're going to think what you wish, anyway. And, I'll try real hard to give a rats arse.

There's few things as amusing on this board as the chihuahua getting caught in another lie. It's one of the most dependable things here. And oddly, he thinks that it somehow validates a shallow, hollow existence. Being recognized as a liar is apparently something he shoots for.
I don't think theres any shallower, or more hollow existance than someone who willfully defends murderers, drug dealers and rapists, like say, a criminal attorney.
If theres anyone that can't be trusted or that should be branded a liar, it would have to be one of them.
You're pretty good at entrapment, though. You come on here, make a post claiming that I referred to Peterson as just a "decent" player, making it sound as if that was my take recently, when that was something I said over 3 years ago, & it was before Peterson had his All-pro year. Since that AP year, I have always referred to Mike Pete as an elite player, so excuse me if it slipped my mind that over 3 years ago, before his improvement, I said, correctly, that he was just a "good: player at the time.
That kind of slip up doesn't make one a liar. But thats the angle you're trying to illustrate, mr attorney.
See, you're good at being shady like that. I guess its something that makes you proud. Kinda validates a pathetic, shallow existence, huh?
You've always used tactics like that, though.
For example, You always like to bring up that I wanted the Jags to add WR David Terrell a few years ago because you know his career ultimately fluttered out. however, you never ever give the other half of that - which is, I was in favor of the Jags adding him as a 1 year/ minimum salary "show me" type deal.....much like what they gave to Sammy Knight last season. That way if it worked out - great, if not, no big investment. The Jags WR's at the time were hardly a full proven quality corps to where taking a chance on a player like Terrell would have been impossible.
But, no, you angle that the best you can as if that player was #1 on my Jags FA priority list or something. You always use tactics like that. I guess its your nature.
So, I guess you're right in that terming you a "liar" being false....no, you are much worse than that. You're a person who likes to twist facts, and use half truths. Much more evil than a simple, pure "liar".
