Or are we just fine the way we are going into Training Camp with what we have?  Are there any players out there you feel the Jags may be looking at?  Is the Jason Taylor trade talks and rumors now over with the drafting of two DEs?  What about Terrell Suggs?  He didn't sign a long term deal with the Ravens.  He was given the franchise tag this season and could be given it again, but the Ravens would have to give him an additional 20% raise next year on $8 million this year.  That would mean his 2009 salary would be $9.6 mil.  Likewise, with CB Nnamdi Asomugha in Oakland?  He would be solid on the opposite end of Mathis and Florence could be the best nickle in the NFL.  And what about disgruntled NYC TEs Chris Baker and Jeremy Shockey?  Any chance we may see them wearing teal and black this season?  I'm concerned about Wrighster's health.  He always seems to be getting banged up.  Either one of those two would make a nice complement to Marcedes Lewis.  Got any other names you'd like to throw out there?

We should pick up Farve to sell out the stadium, then use him as our backup.

S Greg Wesley is now a FA and I'd certainly rather have him as a backup than Pierson Prioleau.

Wesley could be this year's version of Sammy Knight.

Congratulations to the 2008 WORLD Champions, your Philadelphia Phillies!

And we would rather have five or six three year olds posting instead of you. We can't always get what we want though.

Hey if the Jags could get Jeremy Shockey for their 2009 Rd 2 pick, I think that would be an absolute steal for the Jags despite the fact that Shockey might not be ready for the start of the 2009 regular season.

If you listen to most of the msg board, they'll tell you that Geo Wrighster is better than Shockey and Shockey wouldn't help us.

Good thing i know better than to listen to most of this msg board.

I'd love for the Jags to add Shockey and pair him with Marcedes. The Jags would have a top notch TE corps, as well as a player on offense that has the fire of a defensive player. I could see Shockey being an emotional leader to this offense.

Shockey and Marcedes could be nice. But not for a 2nd rounder as suggested a few higher. No way, no how.

Is Prioleau even gonna make the team?  The 4th safety, if we even carry one, will be one of the very last cuts.

Have we ever not carried 4 safeties?

Del Rio was right!
