This really stinks.  AB is as American as baseball, hot dogs and apple pie.  Another American Icon sold to the highest bidder.  Mich Lite was my go to brand too, but not anymore.  Jonesy, do you have any suggestions?

Jonesey's a Bud Dry guy, so he is probably grieving also. Sam Adams is pretty hard to go wrong with, but has more bite than you would be used to.

On a related note, do you know the beer that always wins the blind taste tests? I've never tried it, but Old Milwakee wins all the time. I keep telling myself I should try it and see what all the "Hubub" is about.

Try this knock-off crap called Alaskan Amber... 12 pack 40 ounces of sweet taste.

I love it.

I show off my anger after Jags losses. I can't help myself.

Sam's is my favorite sipping brew, Mich Lite was my drinking brew.

Old Milwaukee may win out on the taste portion, but it only takes a few to give me a headache the next day.  Same with actual Bud line.  It so hard to find a reasonably priced beer that will not give you a headache.

Have you tried any of the Canadians? Labatts or Molson? Some like them, and though I haven't priced any lately, they were reasonable ten years ago. You being closer to the border probably would pay less too.

Closer to what border? Cuba's?    I went to college at OU, I live with you now.

Yes, the Canuck beer is pretty darn tasty.  Molsen Golden is outstanding, though I have never seen it down here.
