| Tony Snow passed away this past weekend at a very young age and nobody put a thread up about it. He will surely be missed and may he rest in peace.
I guess Hollywood dimwits spawning was more important.

I guess Hollywood dimwits spawning was more important.You sound angry.. everything ok at home? Anyways.. some things are better left unsaid.. So I'll keep it short: RIP to the guy that had the hardest job in the US..

| I always thought he was one of the good guys. It saddened me to hear of his passing. I though he was in remission. That said, colon cancer is tough way to go. His death should be a warning to everyone over the age of 40 to get their colon checked, every 5 years.

| | I too was saddened to hear that Tony had passed away. I actually had an opportunity to correspond via email with him before he took the White House after he got his own national radio show. He was a huge help when we were trying to make arrangements for the inauguration back in 2001. After he was diagnosed initially and was off the air on Fox News, I sent him an email just to pass along words of encouragement. Again, he responded a few days later and seemed upbeat. When he announced that the cancer had returned, I figured it was only a matter of time for him. And sadly, that was the case. Tony Snow truly was one of the good guys. Anyone that thinks otherwise really doesn't have a clue about what kind of a person he actually was. He took a difficult job at a point in his life after a serious illness because he felt that it was his duty to fill that role. He was exceptionally good at it. He has a relatively young family that will now mourn him, and that's a shame. Thoughts and prayers go out to them.
