| Call me crazy, but I think that the big ticket item next off-season will be to get a new Center. Don't get me wrong, I think that B. Meester still has 2-3 years worth of strong play left in the tank, but that's what I see as the point of emphasis.

| Freddy T passes Jim Brown, wins a championship and retires Then we sign UFA Steven Jackson from the Rams to create a new unstoppable 1-2 punch with MoJo

Jones, continues his recovery and we use him as the 1-2 punch and work more on other parts of the team, possibly WR, OL(Center for sure and Guard possibly) and maybe DL? Just my .02 JDJAX96 |

| I think it will be how much Ice they decide to have on their SB rings!!!!
also how much money to give Reggie Williams in his new contract after another 10 TD (800 yard season)!!
we need to draft a replacement C even though Meester still has time left! but I don't trust Norman starting at C.
RB battle for the heir to Freddy T! Chauncey Washington? or Greg Jones?
also I think we'll draft a LOT, maybe a DT to be Big Johns heir and even a CB in the later rounds to eventually replace Rashean...
| Reggie Williams + David Garrard = 10 TD's! | |

| | rashean at 27 turning 28 wont need a replacement for a long time.. cb's can play well into their 30's.. next year i see in free agency either a RB, OT, or another WR. in the draft i think we go DT and Center with the first 2 picks.. center to groom to replace meester in 2 years, and DT to groom after henderson and meier to hopefully pair with tony McD..
Rashean the I-N-T Machine Mathis- best CB in the game
TMD's "predictions" so far for 08 season:
-Minnesota and Philly in the NFC championship game with Minnesota in the Superbowl
-Denver Broncos in the AFC championship game
-Houston a top 5 rushing team in the 09 season
-Houston seeded higher in the playoffs than the jags
- jags finishing 9-7 at best
- Browns finish better than the Jags
-Jags finish last in the AFC South after a bad showing in the preseason
TMD and I have a bet for $100 on the Jags wins
-Denver winning the AFC West LOL
-Bengals over Jags 24-21

| I agree. I think 2009 will be all about focusing on adding interior linemen on both sides of the ball. Rob Meier isn't getting any younger, and neither is Meester. Drafting their replacements in 2009 allows them the opportunity to develop that depth with the expectation that they'll be sliding into the starting role in a year or two.

Drafting their replacements in 2009 allows them the opportunity to develop that depth with the expectation that they'll be sliding into the starting role in a year or two.exactly, i would say DT or center in free agency, but that would usually incline they would start right away, and neither position needs an immediate starter next year. i dont see it going any other way than center or DT in rounds 1 and 2 next year.. unless, an elite DT comes available in free agency and they see the need to go after him. WR might still be an option in free agency, but i think this group will provide the young playmakers we've been looking for. RB is a possibility, but if they plan on moving greg to RB eventually, theres no need there for an immediate player thru free agency.
