BUCKETHEAD (6/22/2008)
mcol126 (6/22/2008) He cut off his dreads. Why would he do so such a dreadful thing? He's growing up?
what about rashean or reggie f'n nelson They are all young men, in the NFL. Many choose to keep the "player" image. The choice is theirs.
Some will believe their value may increase in terms of marketing/endorsements if they maintain a more clean cut, mainstream image.

| Bon Jagley (6/22/2008) Jones-Drew just hasn't been the same since he cut his off.Good point. I think when guys get in the league they try and maximize their marketability the best they can.

| Stigma (6/22/2008) I really like that nickname, The Dreaded D I have a t-shirt that has a Jaguar skull with dread locks that say's "The Dreaded D" on the front and on the back it say's "You only got three". Ralph the guy that owns the Fly's Tie Pub in Atlantic beach made them a couple years ago.

| I may be mistaken, but isn't it a Jaguar tradition (and perhaps around the league) to shave the heads of all rookies? I remember being at the scrimmage last year, and even the new training staff had their heads shaved. May be he is trying to lessen the contrast for his date with the clippers.

| It is on Atlantic just north of Aqua East but other side of road. I think it's address is on Sail Fish Drive. He also just opened a new bar/restaurant (great food) across the street from the baseball field called Gas Knobs. If you go in and see a big bald guy with a beard and lots of tatoos speaking with a irish accent you found Ralph.

| Because maybe if he gets an interception near the side line (don't know how a defensive end would be able to do this) he doesn't want the play to be ruled incomplete due to his hair being out of bounds.
