| Jmorris (6/22/2008) So i feel a championship coming.... although im not sure why we got rid of stroud im curious why but im sure we can do it this year the jags learned alot last year.Injuries over the last two years. Add in the fact that Meier has been ready to take over, Landri really came on and proved to be a good spot player. Also big Mac is a beast as well. The tackle position is pretty good. I almost forgot Jimmy Kennedy who has a fresh start here. He was fllying around in the OTA's etc. I think he may be able to really help out too.

| But more than anything I think the Jags knew that Stroud wouldn't be the player he was before the injuries.

All of these, plus the idea that his 'stock' as far as Stroud the player being fungible, was never going to be any higher. It still amazes me that we got a Third and a Fifth for a guy coming off of a 4-game suspension and Micro-Fracture surgery.
Go heavy early.
You do not maintain perfection, you work for it everyday.

| | Stroud partied too dam-n much anyways. Not as dedicated to his trade as he should have been. Maybe now that he's in Buffalo, there will be less for him to get into.
Watch your step. | |
