He mentions Vince Young and Matt Schaub as if they're both prolific passers.

Funny stuff.

I was just about to say the same thing...that statement is separated by only a few lines before "John clayton, a member of the Pro Football Hall of Fame writer's wing, is a senior writer for ESPN.com"

While that's pretty bad, he does seem to be up-to-speed on the jaguar happenings. He even mentions Mike Walker.

John Clayton is absolutely horrible.

Anyone that spends 5 minutes reading about a team can be twice as informative as this hack.

MY point is that we have the same players that played on the offensive line most of last year.  So the WORST we could do is start the same players in the same spots.  The fact that they're moving Manuwai from LG to RG indicates to me that they either think they can do better by shuffling players around, or they are just experimenting.  REGARDLESS, to say our line will not be as good as last year is illogical.   We could always just start the same guys at the same spots.

I am sure it hurt Clayton to say ot anything positive about the Jaguars.  On a side note, doesn't Clayton look like a pedifile?

Not really.

I always thought he looked like Charlie Brown but all grown up.  You know big head, wisp of hair and small stooped shoulders.   Can't you just picture Lucy yanking the football out just before crypt keeper tries to kick it?

To me, John Clayton looks like a gangster. If I was walking down the street and he was coming the other way, I'd walk across the street to avoid him. I don't think he'd think twice about roughing somebody up just for looking at him the wrong way. I heard Brian DePalma was going to cast him as the lead in a remake of Scarface.

Lets do this.

SSDD.

Yep, it's the dead zone.   What do you expect?

I was really referring to Clayton's antics, but you make a good point, nevertheless.

His head proportional to his body always reminded me of Mr. Mackey from South Park, anyone else?  It's almost as if his head is a balloon and its just floating on his shoulders attatched by a string, or something similar

We have a member with the SN J. Clayton with an avatar of Mr. Mackey. So.. yes.

Exactly!  JDR doesn't have to move Manuwai to the right side; it's not etched in stone.  He can always choose to start the very same OL we had for most of last year.  The same OL that helped the Jags to a string of ten games of at least 24 points, and the #2 rushing offense in the NFL.

Any change would either improve on an already strong OL or be a coaching mistake.
