I don't think the Jack Del Rio Foundation would have been initiated if LA plans were in the works.

We're going to be selling out this year.  Who knows, maybe in a few years those tarps will come off and we can pack in 78,000 !!!  This city is growing and those bad arse 20 year old fans we have that come to the game screaming their lungs out are our 1st generation fans that have grown up with the team

I love lazy journalists.

Why don't they take a look see and check out where the Jaguars are league wide in attendance. That should tell them how much we "struggle" to sell out.

Jacksonville is the easy answer. I wish someone would grow a pair for once and stop being lazy. Google.com isn't THAT difficult.

*EDIT

Oh wait, it's written by Mike Florio.

Del Rio was right!

I agree...except for the tarps...I can imagine them coming off in 10+ years of selling out...with an extensive waiting list that substantially grows each year...I'm one of those twenty-somethings that fell in love with the team after having season tix. I've noticed a healthy mix of ages in the NEZ over the past two years.

Rashean the I-N-T Machine Mathis- best CB in the game
TMD's "predictions" so far for 08 season:
-Minnesota and Philly in the NFC championship game with Minnesota in the Superbowl
-Denver Broncos in the AFC championship game
-Houston a top 5 rushing team in the 09 season
-Houston seeded higher in the playoffs than the jags
- jags finishing 9-7 at best
- Browns finish better than the Jags
-Jags finish last in the AFC South after a bad showing in the preseason
TMD and I have a bet for $100 on the Jags wins
-Denver winning the AFC West LOL
-Bengals over Jags 24-21

To add to your statement, it was really pi$$ing me off our own local reporters were making a big deal that we're not sold out.  Do they realize how many people are waiting to buy the 4 game package or single game seats  !!!  There are so many people out there that are dying to go to a few games but not willing to commit to a full season ---- I guarantee immediate sellouts for the Steelers,Colts, Pack, Titans, Bills, & Browns games and we'll probably have to wait until the week of the game to sell out the Vikes/Texans

What's funny, is that we seem we are still gaining a profit because I saw a last (I forgot where) that talked about teams that have lost a profit and the Jaguars are not one of those teams. I am just sick of all these articles. They take an article from years ago and still make a story about it. I remember when I read that this is not a Jaguar town, that college teams are seen more on cars than Jag stuff. Well, that is not true at all. Jacksonville is a Jaguar town and the Jags are going nowhere.

Four game packages and single game tickets represent a failure for the Jaguars.  The only defintion of success is all tickets sold out on a season ticket basis.

We have a strong base of about 55K+ fans who purchase season tickets on a yearly basis.  Once that number increases a little we will no longer see these types of articles

Four game packages and single game tickets are the steps needed for an organization like the Jags to attain the consistent sold-out basis.  You can't just ignore the problem and hope that the season-ticket base will eventually right itself.

Anyone ever notice the guy leading the charge about the Jaguars attendance/moving is Mike Florio/PFT guys?  It's the same article over and over and over....

LA has lost 3 teams, right?  Giving them another team I'm sure would work out.
