I have put in my two week notice and I'm moving back to Jax.  Now it will be alot easier to tailgate and watch all the Jag games.  If anybody can help me find a good deal on a house hook it up.

West side is the best side!  (j/k).  But in all honesty, I lived in Cedar Hills for two years before heading out to HollerTassee and got a great value for my home in a decent neighborhood.  Wouldn't hurt...I know the same home on the southside would've been priced about 30-40% more.

Where are you looking to reside?

Do the Beaches , if you can. I know people are tired of that line, but there is truth to it.

Beaches is to town as Mac is to PC.

Better quality, but at a premium.

My sentiments exactly...we're going to check out St. Auggie when we're done with school in seminoleville.

The beaches are booming with bars, restuarants, and chicks...

I agree. If you're living in Jax, the beach is where it's at ... especially if you're single or just plain like to chill - it's a different world out here.

You can actually get reasonable housing prices at the beach if you're west of A1A.

We are moving from Orlando.

I'm married so while the chicks are nice I need to stay out of trouble.

We are looking in the Mandarin/Fleming Island area.  Its a drive to Gate Parkway for work, but the value in Fleming Island is pretty good.  Alot of house for a little bit cheaper.  Mandarin would be a much easier drive.  I'm from OP, but I dont want to live off Blanding.

I married a latino so I get in trouble when chicks are within 3 miles so I might as well make the best of it and go where the hot ones are since I'm pretty much guilty by association anyway !!!

Nocatee is worth considering. Easy access to Gate Pkwy and builders are pricing houses and townhomes quite competitively right now. It will evolve into one of the best spots to live in our area.
