Um, he wanted to leave because he was a back-up in Cleveland, so I doubt he'll come here to do the same, and apparently he wants to play Guard.

but would you take him over nwaneri or mo williams at guard. it's open competition right now. this would present an opportunity for him to join a serious contender and possibly start.

Nope.

I hate it when basically any player from any team comes available and we think that they may be an upgrade...

It was hard for the guys on JTW last night not to say that there is no weaknesses on this team...

i was just saying he might, besides he was a former pro-bowler. but there are other factors such as his attitude and his price.

but if dude is willing to come in, realize that nothing is promised, and work his tail off, then why not sign him up for 1 year???

If he doesn't see it that way, then move on. But he's only 29(i think) and hasn't played in 2 years so he's fresh. The more comp, the better, imo.

True; but we've already got solid position battles at those positions...

Just re-signed Mo Williams, they're high on Uche, Dennis Norman is extra solid, and Meester and Manuwai aren't going anywhere...

There's just not a spot to compete for...

I remember a few years back when most of us were frothing at the mouth to get LeCharles Bentley.

if i remember correctly when meester was out for a few games the running suffered with norman in as center. bentley seems like he could be better depth than norman if he is able to play guard as well as center.
