I say Gray.

Leftwich's best hope is the CFL, other than bagging groceries at the local Food Lion.

Congratulations to the 2008 WORLD Champions, your Philadelphia Phillies!

Look what that did for Kurt Warner.

EDIT: Nevermind.. Kurt Wanner didn't have two left feet.

I say who really cares, other than an obsessive person who has what he thinks is some nebulous point to prove? Both are gone let go of it.

Both are free agents.  It's a shame they weren't already on this team with the turmoil, because we'd have an opportunity (provided we hadn't signed Lemon) to grab a quality QB as our backup.  Then again, maybe Lemon is that guy.

I gotta say Leftwich. I base this on the recent events in Houston. I don't think Gray has a very good work ethic. Leftwich always came with a good attitude, worked hard, and he does have some natural ability. He'd make someone a very good backup insurance policy.

The problem for Leftwich is his style of play only suits a wide open passing attack with an excellent offensive line. He does not make a good backup. His game is not versatile enough to mesh in an offense that is not structured around his strengths. He does not want to be a backup, and will not sit quietly on the bench as he demonstrated in Atlanta.

Quinn Gray as a backup is a proven commodity. You know he can come in and protect the ball and give your team a chance to survive until your starter is back.

Leftwich's chance to sign is when a team has an emergency and they do not have a better choice.

Gray's chance to sign is during training camp when a team decides a young guy is not going to be dependable enough to keep as a backup.

I say Gray has the edge unless a starter goes down with injury early in training camp.
