My parents lived in South Florida so we visited there alot as a kid. Mind you I grew up in Jacksonville, but the biggest diff. I rememeber is the heat. Going to Tampa/Miami in December is like going to Jacksonville in August. Its just ALWAYS hot there. that and everything seems to cost a little more.Just don't run out of gas in West Palm Beach! Gas up in Ft Lauderdale if you are going there. When gas was CHEAP it was still a ridiculous price in WPB. Don't say I didn't warn you.
