| | When the "all he does is win games" mantra was found to be wanting those who follow the NFL found that VY was lacking the skills to be a real threat at QB. VY has yet to play anywhere near an average game against Jacksonville though I recall reading where one titan fan noted that if given time VY would eventually be successful against the Jags. It isn't a question of "sour grapes". VY had a horrible passer rating but showed up when needed to assist in winning games for the titans. That isn't denied. However, past OROY were based on performance and stats, of which VY only had 1 covered. He was a media darling and since the voting is media based it isn't a shock he won. Those same media pundits are now realizing that VY is going on year 3 and has shown limited if any improvement. VY or DG...that is an easy choice. I'll take the guy who is actually a QB. The guy who can throw and scramble. That leaves out VY.

| | I'm going to reserve judgment on Vince Young until he gets some solid WR's. However, to say he is a very good QB right now is pathetic. I don't think you guys will see improvement with them trying to install a college theme in the nfl levels. |

He actually broke 1,000 yards on the ground, and helped his team to a Superbowl. Young on the other hand, broke rookie records, played in the pro bowl... that was pretty much a no brainer. I can't believe some mental midgets still have sour grapes over that.

| Byron Leftwich had better numbers his rookie season.. he wasn't even a candidate for ROY.
The Media loves Vince.
And stop brining up the Captain Turnover crap.. he was horrible then, but he worked on his game and improved. He has the football intelligence and the drive to do that - does Vince "Nobody can teach me nothing" Young? Hell no.

He's still going to suck at the NFL level.Always has, always will.  Ah, another i.d.i.o.t.! How has he proven himself as a QB that can play at the NFL level? R.O.Y.! For being the media darling, definitley not because of his play. Even a Tack can admit who was the best Offensive rookie that year. You are just sour grapes and deep inside you wish you had VY instead of what's his name. Quit your whining and worry about your team, you know, the that will finish behind the Titans this year. You envy the Titans so much, you are obsessed with cutting them down, think that will make you feel better, but deep inside, you know the Titans have the best coach and the best team. You might want to see a doctor about your condition. You are a delusional tack fan. The Jags are better at virtually every position...including what most feel is our overall worst position in WR. Better at QB, RB (by a huge margin), O-Line is close, but it has to be for the Tacks seeing you have Vince back there. Better at D-Line this year, LB by far, and the defensive backfield is better. I do like Fisher as a coach, but I will take JDR all day. I post these articles on all AFC South teams, take a look. Don't make yourself feel better thinking I "envy" your tacks. Far from it big dog.
