| | I dont know the reasoning, just know that they're putting the black shirts on the shelf this season. When was the info given about the trim & pants being altered? Is there a pic of this yet?

Vic: There will be a minor change to the stripes on the white pants, to match up better with the black letters on the jerseys.

Sounds like they'll be making the interior stripe black with the teal & gold as a trim on the white pants. As fare as the all-black unis, as cool as they are, they've gotten pretty played out IMO. As have all the "alternate" jerseys the various teams have used the last few years. Vic's right on that one, it's hard to build a tradition when your team has 4 different uniforms to choose from. I do like the vintage throwbacks, wish we could bust out the old block-lettering jerseys that they should've never gotten rid of in the first place.

The removal of the black jersey is GREAT!! That was the most ridiculous, lame uniform ever.
Oh, yes, its just -great- getting rid of a jersey that was very popular with the fans AND players, and also looked good.

Ok, then why not just change the uniform to chartruese. I mean, granted it will look awful, but hey, we'll be "ourselves". You ppl are so friggin lame with this hangup you have about looking unique. First of all, the teal isn't all that different from the Dolphins aqua & they've had that for 30 years.
Getting rid of the black jerseys is colossally stupid. But dunce-caps like you just think its the best move ever.

VY is already a top 5 QB in this league. He just wins games. And no need for Fred Taylor or MJD we have Chris Henry... he will be better then both of them after this year. Just like Vince Young was last year. BOOK IT. |
