| | I believe this from everything I read, and hear, from the participants: Management of the Jaguars is done AS A TEAM. Draft picks are not Shack picks, they are Shack/Jack/Gene/Paul/Wayne and the Scouts' picks. Credit or blame should be assigned equally to ALL of the participants in the process. First round busts should be blamed on the TEAM; second round home runs should be credited TO THE TEAM. This is what makes it hard for people like me to understand why people like TMD want to focus blame for the few bad moves solely on Shack Harris, and give credit for the many good moves to other people. The only thing we can come up with as any kind of logical explanation is race. I'm not saying TMD is a racist, I'm just trying to explain why some people throw the race card at him. Because of the history, and continued existence of, racism in this country, when a person focuses an inordinate amount of negative attention on an African American person, for apparently no good reason at all, to the point of obsession, that person looks to many people like a racist. I'm not saying you are a racist, TMD, I'm just trying to offer some kind of explanation as to why people might accuse you of it, fairly or unfairly.
