The thc in it is an hallucinogen. THC content varies with the strain of the plant, the way it's cured etc.. It's no more harmless than booze really - in fact I think it's less harmless. One major problem with it though is the carcinogens the smoke carries. That is what tempers my use which is only occasionally. Psychologically speaking, there could be problems if the user is cognitively resistant to the effects. That's when paranoia starts. So it's ok for some but not for others. Simply put, if someone experiences feelings of unsettledness or the like, they should stay away from it. Parents should educate their children on these types of effects and encourage them to say "No" and not feel any remorse in doing so. Conversely, if a parent finds that their child is smoking grass, it's important not to stigmatize the child but to open communication in a non-confrontational way.

just mo.

Thanks Dr. Phil

My wife consideres it a miracle cure for her migraines, so it's always around. I really have no interest in it though. I'm a bona-fide beer hound, and that's good enough for me. I've done it, and it really doesn't do much for me other than make me sleep. Plus, I shouldn't be stoned...............It would make me act silly.

The proper title for this thread is "Do You Smoke Weed And If So How Often?" It really doesn't ask anything about ones opinion of it.

Seriously, pot is for wimps. I stick with crack, heroin, and meth.

Good catch Fargin.

I originally was going to start a thread about people's opinions on it, but decided that it would probably just end up going down the toilet after about post 6 or 7.

So I changed the options to just find out who smoked or didn't smoke and if so how often. I guess I forgot to change the title though.

You always have to come in and ruin all my fun don't ya.
