The Mad Dog (5/14/2008) I'm so close to bashing a certain somebody right now....but trying to hold my composure..Luckily we solved that problem by delegating the draft this year as follows: JDR was responsible for picking rounds 1,2,5,7 Shack was responsible for selecting rounds 3,4,6 WORKS OUT GREAT !!! You have to be careful with that breakdown. If you're the whimp, you have to remain flexible. So, if 1, 2, 5, or 7 don't pan out, you need to be able to find a way to maneuver from your perch on leg #3 of that barstool at the "sports" bar in Philly so that you can shift the blame to Shack Harris on the fly. If 3, 4, or 6 turn out to be stars, you need to find a way to give credit to Del Rio and Smith for those picks.

Thanks, I fixed my original post by adding "Editor note: If any of the picks from JDR turn out to be a bust, that pick will be credited to Shack's decision making. I have all my bases covered now

| | I really don't get why everyone is so twisted up over Brian Smith. This is a Fourth Round guy coming off of a major injury... what did you expect from him? He's an injury risk guy that represents a lot of upside if he pans out. Else, what did you really lose? These players are the epitome of risk-reward, and that's exactly what you get.

| Five players did not practice due to rehab from injuries: Brian Smith, George Wrighster (knee), Mike Walker (knee), Marcedes Lewis (knee) and Greg Estandia (shoulder). Smith, a fourth-round draft choice in 2007, missed all of last season due to a hip injury, but Del Rio said the hip was not the reason for his inactivity on Tuesday. Smith chose not to disclose the injury and Del Rio complied.
From Vic's story this week on OTA's.
Does anybody read the front page? Now, obviously JDR could be lying, but I'd take his word over Rotoworld's or any other NFL rumor site. |

| Pig, how's that "diet" working out? Did you break another "treadmill"? How was that healthy "salad" you had for dinner? Does your "bicycle" require tracks (like on tanks)? Did your evening "jog" cause the 7.9 event in China?
Mike Walker is a TMD kind of player...
PRODUCES, not excuses
Mike Walker, 100 yards rec. in his 4th NFL game.
It took WR Doe, who was drafted 9th overall, 4 seasons to accomplish that feat.
