Top Japan official: UFOs 'definitely' exist
By THE ASSOCIATED PRESS

TOKYO - Japan's top government spokesman says, perhaps a little tongue in cheek, that he believes in UFOs.

Chief Cabinet Secretary Nobutaka Machimura made the remark while speaking to reporters today. Machimura was delivering the government's official response to an opposition legislator who is demanding an inquiry into what he says are "frequent reports of UFO sightings."

Oface, are you familiar with Michio Kaku? He's a theoretical physicist who teaches up at NYU? He's one smart (understatement of the year there) guy and here's a link to an article he wrote about levels of civilizations. He discusses in the article the possibility of aliens coming to Earth. I found the article very interesting so I thought you might also.

Thanks for posting what looks to be a real good read. I can't read it all now because I'm still at work. Obviously, I don't think aliens are on their way...although I do believe in life off of earth.

This guy has a very interesting approach, combining physics with philosophy.

I'm curious, why do you believe this? I'm not trying to smack you, just curious about your opinions on why aliens would come here on a regular basis.
