Why oh why can we not get some board software that actually works? vBulletin is used on a few other sites that I frequent, and has higher traffic numbers. So far I have yet to see any major down time and things "just work". Just the little things such as avatars, signatures, the ability to post images and the ability to embed videos from youtube, etc.

I compared the licensing fees, and it would actually cost less to use.

Pen and paper might be better than this software.

The problem is not the board software. What happened is they took down the extra features to help everything run as smooth as possible during the draft. The worked out ok, but that was more than two weeks ago. Hang tight. It's only a matter of time until something wakes up whomever is asleep at the wheel.

Yep, shouldn't take more than 6 months or so. Be patient; this is not a priority for our glorious administrators.

If it were me as an Admin here, I'd be trying to get the place running back up to speed as the members would want, these members are paying/paid customers to the stadium and the Jaguars, when members aren't happy, they tend to leave and go elsewhere to statisfy themselves. (That is just a general rule and the truth.)

Next time I'm at the stadium I'll stick a spiral notebook with a pen under the Jaguar statue. We can use that.

The board software is a problem. It's insecure (I'm assuming nothing was done about the scripting vulnerability I reported ages ago...), feature-poor (including missing some features that were present in the previous version), and unreliable.
