One tape turned over by Walsh shows Patriots also stole offensive signals

From Day 1 of the Spygate saga in September, the controversy over New England's illicit videotaping practices has centered on the Patriots' efforts to steal their opponents' defensive signals. But the tapes delivered via FedEx to NFL headquarters in New York on Thursday morning also include evidence of an effort by New England to steal offensive signals, which would broaden the extent of the team's surveillance operation.

This is utterly irrelevant - offensive plays are communicated to the players by radio, not by signals. This would only be of interest if opposing teams playing against the Patriots kept suffering suspicious radio blackouts, forcing them to revert to hand signals.

Seriously, this is largely a waste of time.

Remember a few years back when the fins were accused of getting a audio tape of the PATS so they could get all of Brady's audibles?

That was 100x a bigger deal then any of this.

Remember when the Jags played the pats in the wildcard game a few years back.  I believe we lost the use of our headsets.  We were forced to use hand signals.  That was all bellicheat.....

The only reason that they would tape these signal is if they expected the headsets to go out.

I agree, where there is smoke there is fire, and whether we ever hear or not I am sure their is much more depth to the cheating than will ever be revealed.

HMM, Funny, when we went to Foxboro 3 years ago we misteriously had head set problems in the 1st half on offense. Things that make you say, hmmmmmmmmmmmm.
