[quote][b] I see what you mean, I just thought it is obvious we don't know any other person, On a level that would allow us to say they "Never" would do something bad or illegal with absolute certainty, And that seemed to be a big part of his point. I never looked at Marvin as an ambassador of the NFL, Though I did tend to believe he was or is a good dude. He started out saying "Might", But continued later as if he was discussing facts about the allegations. He as well opinioned "pouting" as it were fact, As he eye witnessed it, Yet as he pointed out so well "we don't know people", So how does he know Marvin didn't just have gas? His pouting theory was based on a look, Not on words or any other evidence to support his claim, Though he uses his interpretation as fact. I had seen a rumor somewhere the casings didn't come from a .50 cal as originally speculated, I don't know if that is true or not, As well as the early rumors had a girl getting cut under the eye, Turned out it was a boy? other rumors have the shooting happening on the freeway, Others outside the bar, And yet other rumors say it was near the car wash which I think I heard was four blocks from the bar. I think most everything I have seen is unofficial and came from supposed leaked sources, Which adds to the confussion. What is fact and what is rumor? Was there actually a second victim shot in the shoulder? I am asking, Not making a point, Is there an actual police report about it? Honestly, I have no clue what to believe, And if Marvin was involved, He deserves the same justice you or I would face, I have no pity for violent criminals, Is Marvin one? Speculation and rumors say maybe, I am willing to wait until more facts emerge or he is actually charged and convicted, If such happens, Good for the police for serving justice as it was meant to be. Sam The only official report that we have at this point in time is that Marvin Harrison has been interviewed as part of an investigation of a shooting in Philadelphia. I could be wrong, but the rest is hearsay. It is pretty amusing to see so many coltfans have such a huge attack of due process.

| JacksJags (5/9/2008) And this from profootballtalk.com As if the news of a shooting with his gun last week, an alleged choking with his hands in 2005, and another palms-on-someone-else’s-neck incident in 2003 weren’t enough to justify a conclusion that Colts receiver Marvin Harrison might not be the nice, quiet guy that his on-field demeanor suggests, A.J. Daulerio of Deadspin hints that we might learn a lot more about Harrison, soon. I don't get why we're not hearing more about these incidents. They totally paint Harrison as a guy who could be involved in this. The man CLEARLY has a temper.

| | Just because Harrison doesn't give interviews doesn't mean we don't know him. He has never been in trouble with the law outiside of one case that was dismissed and has no one the field issues in a long, HOF career. I think in his case he goes by the adage that actions speak louder than words. If the cops had anything on him, they would have done something more by now. |

Nothing ever came of those cases, which I think in this day and age says a lot about how believable they are. If someone was harmed by Harrison and had an actual case against a rich, future HOF NFL player, you better believe some lawyer would be suing to get their "piece of the pie" and some reporter would be out there tracking down the story to make their own reputation. My guess is nothing comes of this because there is nothing to the stories. |

When the Harrison case occured the Philly cops were already, and still are knee deep in a cop killing case. It has only been a little over a week with the Harrison situation. Given the other case, and the relatively short time of the Harrison one there is no wonder that nothing as of yet has happened in that case.

Maybe they need to hire more cops. Thank God I don't live there. Still no word on charges or anything further against Harrison. I won't be holding my breath waiting, but I'll keep checking back here. Maybe they are just putting it off until all other Philly crimes are solved and settled. Should be any day now. |

May I ask why you consider that a "good" article on Harrison? Seems lite on facts, Heavy on opinion. Sam I didn't even read it. Prisco is All Option No Facts. Trust me, we get him 3 hours per day on the radio and he's getting blown away from their competitor.

From what I hear a lot of man power, detectives mainly, are on the cop killing case. The Harrison case still is not very old, it will take time, particularly with the high profile name of Harrison, and the NFL. They are dotting all i's, and crossing t's. Simmer down.
