Parcells did rob Dallas for two probable starters in that trade before the draft, but in the draft itself the Chiefs spanked Parcells.  I don't know who was picking for the Chiefs, but they did an excellent job.  The only thing the Chiefs messed up on was not getting a QB.

K.C.-- The first six picks are very, very good.  Then they got some great sleepers later in WR Robinson and DE Johnston.

DT Glenn Dorsey
OL Branden Albert
CB Brandon Flowers
RB Jamal Charles
TE Brad Cottam
S  DuJuan Morgan
WR William Franklin
DB Brandon Orr
OT Barry Richardson
WR Kevin Robinson
DE Brian Johnston
TE Mike Merritt

Miami-- Long is a good pick and they were lucky Henne fell to them.  Merling is a question mark with that hernia surgery.  They should have drafted a better RB when they had the chance.

OT Jake Long
DE Phillip Merling
QB Chad Henne
DE Kendall Langford
OG Shawn Murphy
RB Jalen Parmele
OG Donald Thomas
RB Lex Hillard
DT Lionel Dotson

Parcells essentially rebuilt half of his Offensive amd Defensive Lines with this draft, and then got himself two starting caliber players for a 4th Round pick. I like what KC did as well, but this draft might just have put Miami back on the map.

I really feel like this was a monster draft for Parcells.

I think KC did well, but hey you better do well when you have that many picks after unloading your best player in Jared Allen.

I'd say Miami edged out KC.

My reasoning is that you have to include the player they got for the 4th.  Basically, that makes Miami's draft haul through the 4th round:

1) Jake Long

2a) Phillip Merling

2b) Chad Henne

3) Kendall Langford

4a) Akin Ayodele

4b) Anthony Fasano

4c) Shawn Murphy

That is true.  By Parcells making that trade before the draft, he did not have to mess with drafting a TE or LB, so he was able to concentrate on the line of scrimmage.  I just think in the draft itself, K.C.'s picks look much better.

No.  You are not allowed to include that in the comparison.
