I think Mike Martz really killed Woodson's stock.
Brennan's fall isn't surprising considering the bowl game and his hip injury.What did Mike Martz say/do? Martz tried to run his complicated offense and install it in less than a week. He also tried to tweak Woodson's mechanics in like 3 days and it messed him all up. Also Brennan got hurt AT the Senior Bowl IIRC. Oh I see.

| | Howard is more of a LB than a DE/Pass-rusher, It's just that they knew that the Hawai'i Offensive Line was not going to be able to have the wide splits that they normally do, so they lined him up in what looked like a 7 or maybe even a 9 technique and let him go. If he (Howard) spends any time with his hand on the ground, a savvy QB is going to audible to run right at and over the guy.
Go heavy early.
You do not maintain perfection, you work for it everyday.
