Anybody got one of those need run-downs on the guy from a fancy draft site?

Good value.

"As a matter of fact what I do is probably more of a service to the team than what you do, since I alert Wayne Weaver that his GM decision was a bad one. And it was. If Weaver listened to you people, Harris would be here forever, and the team would never win anything of substance.

Once Weaver listens to me, and he will, eventually, we might then get a GM in here that can make the right personnel moves in here that can lead us to a superbowl."

TMD...seriously

We're starting a run on guys named T. Williams.

this is a great pick, kiper had him rated as a mid 3rd round guy... led the ncaa in ints over the last 2 seasons and started alongside mike jenkins.... i like this pick

Rashean the I-N-T Machine Mathis- best CB in the game
TMD's "predictions" so far for 08 season:
-Minnesota and Philly in the NFC championship game with Minnesota in the Superbowl
-Denver Broncos in the AFC championship game
-Houston a top 5 rushing team in the 09 season
-Houston seeded higher in the playoffs than the jags
- jags finishing 9-7 at best
- Browns finish better than the Jags
-Jags finish last in the AFC South after a bad showing in the preseason
TMD and I have a bet for $100 on the Jags wins
-Denver winning the AFC West LOL

I always liked him.  Jenkins was the more sought after player at USF but Williams had 13 INTs the last two years.  was recruited as a RB but converted to defense and stepped right in as a redshirt freshman.

will probably never be more than a nickel guy but I think he is good value here in the late 5th.

Great value.

Strengths:
Good bulk...Smooth athlete with fluid hips...Is very quick and plays faster than he times...Great hands...Decent instincts with the ability to read and react in a timely manner...Hard worker with solid intangibles...Productive...Has a ton of experience.

Weaknesses:
Lacks the ideal height that you look for...Does not have great timed speed...Is not very strong or physical...Doesn't get a good jam at the line...Marginal tackler...Sub par ball skills...Questionable awareness...He offers little in the way of run support.

Notes:
Redshirted as a running back in '03 but he won their Golden Bull Award as the top Scout Team player on offense...Moved to defense in 2004 and became a four-year starter at cornerback...Was overshadowed by his teammate Mike Jenkins but is a fine pro prospect in his own right...Picked on a lot since teams were usually trying to avoid throwing at Jenkins but he held up well...Could project to play in either a man or zone scheme in the pros....Profiles as a quintessential nickel or dime type.

This has me wondering what teams see wrong with Josh Barrett? I know rumor has it he's not as tough as he should be with his size/speed.

Del Rio was right!

before all the postseason bowls and workouts, Williams was considered a 2nd/3rd round pick.  then he didnt run as well as people would like so he dropped.

he'll have a tough road ahead of him.  Williams, Mathis, and Florence are locks.  Starks is a special teams guru.
