Why the heck would Baltimore trade up one spot with New England to get Matt Ryan??  It's not like the Patriots are going to draft Ryan.  I guess so another unit would not trade up and get him?

That's my thinking. Balt wants to make sure no one else trades with NE and gets Ryan so they basically give NE a free draft pick. It's good for NE because then they know for sure they still get the player they want since the Ravens have the following pick.

I agree, there's no way I pass on Stewart in that situation.

I am not certain that Houston or Pittsburgh would pass on Jonathan Stewart - RB - Oregon. The Jags certainly would take him in a heartbeat, but I would be satisfied with Calais Campbell.
