Say we snag thia DT outta Carolina that all the talking heads got us taking, and then we turn arouynd and get Taylor for our second. Our DL could actually look like a force if a few things go our way.( namely Reggie coming back from his Achilles tear):

Taylor * Henderson * Balmer * Spicer
Hayward McDaniel Meier Hawkins

There are still some wild cards on our roster, Hawkins probably is one.

If we do in fact bring Balmer in (or another starting caliber DT) do you think it would free up Meier to come in a fill in on the end too. He seems to be a disruptive force when he comes in a spells, no matter where it is on the line.

In reference to trying to defend Maurice Jones-Drew:
"It's like trying to tackle a really fast moving fire hydrant."

The Vikings have what it takes to win the NFC North.

I think they definitely have what it takes to beat both the Jaguars and Colts.  I will be very happy with a week 2 win.

I dont think the Vikings are that bad of a team...but with their quarterback problems they have a long way to go to become a league power.

In other words, that guy that compared the current Vikings to the 2004-2005 ish Jags was right on the $$$$. Brick-wich.

Congratulations to the 2008 WORLD Champions, your Philadelphia Phillies!
