In case anyone needs a clue.
Pick a number between 1 and 100, Add 52, Now subtract 7, Add 4, Subtract 13, Subtract the number you started with, Divide by 2, Add 7, Multiply by 4 then subtract 9 ... Viola there's your clue.

| Harvey is projected as a top 10-15 pick...and if Merling gets picked ahead of him then there is something wrong. Anyways I would love for that to happen, just dont see it being possible unless A LOT of teams don't go BAP.

| | Pretty nice, but there is no way Merling goes before Harvey and Keith Rivers falls that far. Here is my take on the first round: 1. Mia- OT Jake Long 2. Stl- DT Glenn Dorsey 3. Atl- QB Matt Ryan 4. Oak- DE Chris Long 5. K.C- DE V. Gholston 6. NYJ- RB Darren McFadden 7. N.E- LB Keith Rivers 8. Bal- OT Ryan Clady 9. Cin- DT Sedrick Ellis 10. N.O- CB D. R-Cromartie 11. Buf- CB Leodis Mckelvin 12. Den- RB Rashard Mendenhall 13. Car- DE Derrick Harvey 14. Chi- OL Branden Albert 15. Det- RB Jonathan Stewart 16. Ari- CB Mike Jenkins 17. K.C- OT Jeff Otah ****From Minnesota 18. Hou- S Kenny Phillips 19. Phi- WR Devin Thomas 20. Tam- WR Limas Sweed 21. Was- DE Phillip Merling 22. Dal- CB Aqib Talib 23. Pit- OT Chris Williams 24. Ten- DE Calais Campbel 25. Sea- OT Gosder Cherilus 26. Jac- RB Felix Jones 27. S.D- CB Antoine Cason 28. Dal- WR Desean Jackson 29. S.F- DE/OLB Q. Groves 30. G.B- QB Brian Brohm 31. NYG- LB Jerod Mayo

| give the jags Antoine Cason and were good to go
Riding the Brian Witherspoon bandwagon. ______________________________________________________________ Titansfan9157 (8/24/2007) VY is already a top 5 QB in this league. He just wins games. And no need for Fred Taylor or MJD we have Chris Henry... he will be better then both of them after this year. Just like Vince Young was last year. BOOK IT. | |

| well merling has a new workout thursday and if he performs well, and i think he will, he will shoot back above derrick harvey
remember the ONLY knock on merling is the fact he had the sports hernia, no knock on his play...dont forget he was projected as top 10 pick before the sports hernia
but harvey has the doubters saying hes a tweener, and is best suited for a 3-4 OLB

| as per NFL.com, Cardinals WR A Bouldin is demanding a trade (again). The Cardinals said no but would offer him more money - but watch out for a team like the Redskins, who wanted to trade for Johnson. If the Redskins threw their 1st round pick and who knows what else - it would once more throw the mocks out of whack.
so I pose this question...
say the Redskins do make the trade (1st this year, whatever combination else needed) -
the Cardinals get the #21 pick - before the Titans and grab WR DeSean Jackson...
meaning 1 more DE will be on the board... Merling.
Or, as per some speculation in the paper, the Jags (like about 3 or 4 other teams) trades down and gets extra picks and a player like Campbell or Groves... |

That could be true. Arizona would probably take a WR and CB or a WR and a RB. That could allow Merling to fall.....BUT then the Titans would probably grab him ahead of us.

| the Titans could, but something tells me the Titans are in a more desperate need for a WR than a DE.
It's also been mentioned on NFL.com that the Titans are looking for a speedy RB, not satisfied with White's speed - so perhaps the Titans go the way of WR and if none are good enough, maybe they draft Felix Jones...
they need offensive weapons more than defense. |
