rfc17 (4/21/2008) oh.. i should have thought of that... let me pop in my brian johnston highlight film...
LOL...
I get a bunch through the grapevine.
Dammn you, Larry!
I have to actually read and scour the internet for horrible, grainy footage...if any can be found at all.
For high school kids, the footage sometimes isn't much better. Depends on the school and video that is acquired. |

| I don't know about his highlights, but they have him running a 40 yard dash at his pro day on youtube.
here's the clip I found:

supposedly around a 4.68 40
definitely worth a good look at / maybe use the higher 3rd round pick on him?

| Here is an interesting statement from todays T-U article:"...Keep an eye on a couple of the second-tier prospects, such as Hampton's Kendall Langford and Eastern Michigan's Jason Jones. The Jaguars have shown interest in them, especially Langford..."

I love the small-school, 2nd-tier prospects. That is the Jaguars' bread and butter. Keep them Justin Durant's coming!

Mentioned on this very forum many months ago.
The T-U just stealing Stigma's stuff from months ago. Poor journalism. |

| You know, this is exactly the reason why I just figure that everything from about April 1 on is pretty much either a lie, or completely made up. I just can't imagine that the team's value boards are as fluid as most of these sites make them out to be.

Trust me...they aren't. All of this "they are rising up boards" talk is simply draft jargon for "don't be surprised if this guy goes higher than you think because teams like him to a varying degree."
Most draft boards were done about a month ago. Maybe one or two guys, like a Malcolm Kelly or Reggie Smith moves a little bit, but they are done well before the draft.
The month before the draft is all about getting everything ready and finding out if they have to move up for a guy they want and all that jazz and really zeroing in and discussing material for late in the draft and just having open discussion on players (maybe a scout is really pushing for a player late in the draft). |

| | The one part of the whole draft process that I would love to have access to is the War Room on Draft Day. I know that no team in their right mind would ever let anyone not associated with the team in there, but when I hear stories about how Andy Heck was screaming for Heath Miller in '05 and supposedly the former O-Line Coach P. Boudreau stormed out of the room when K. Barnes was drafted, I would pay copious amounts of cash for access to that. I guess what I would really like is to get the position coaches and the scouts take on the players. That would be a lifetime of football knowledge in just two days I think.
