| Yeah, there are no guilty prisoners in the Duval County Jail. Why only last week a "poor innocent" inmate was falsley accused of attacking and raping a corrections officer who was a paralegal and assisted all those "innocent" inmates with their appeals. The JSO should be disbanded and the "innocent" inmates should be given guns and sworn to enforce the law. I'm sure you all agree that they would do a better job, right?

Nate Glover, you remember him? Sheriff Nate Glover? Head fish of JSO? That movie is about his son, the detective with no qualifications to be one physically forcing false confessions of murder out of 14 year old boys. You might want to watch it.
You also might sing a different song when the JSO are murdering your family while squeezing you for protection money, there chief:

I never heard of Nate Glover. We did have a sherrif named Nat Glover who is no longer in office. I remember the case you speak of and I thought Glover's son got off easy for what he did. My point is that you seem to want to paint the JSO with a broad brush and say they are all Killers, framers and evil doers. The vast majority of police officers in Jacksonvile are hard working men and women who strive to do their jobs as well as they can. Too bad you want to judge them all by the few bad apples that are not worthy of the badge they wear. If you really beleive they are all bad apples, what is your solution to the problem or do you just want to whine? Did you get a ticket or something?

Again, thanks for telling me what I said. I didn't realize that I said ALL JSO officers were "bad apples". Maybe you can point out that passage for me.
You, on the other hand, have taken the point of view that anyone accused of anything by JSO couldn't possibly be, as you derisively quote; "innocent", over and over.
I'm pointing out, simply and with documented fact, that you are wrong. JSO is not perfect. Is pointing out something obvious "whining" these days?
And I'm sorry Fargin, but I don't remember a "sherrif" named Nat either. In fact, I don't even know what a "sherrif" is.
But if it makes you feel better to point out that I used a different shortening of the name "Nathaniel" by adding an E, I could also point out that I also don't know the words "falsley", "beleive" or this magic place called "Jacksonvile". Is it a really vile place?Glass houses.

I never said I had any answers. In fact, I never offered an indictment of JSO. What I actually did, if you weren't busy feigning the short term memory loss, was point to 2 well documented cases in resent JSO history. Illustrating the point of other posters previous to me in this thread. You might be surprised how many people in Jacksonville haven't seen or even heard of that film. It is, good or bad, part of the world's perception of Jacksonville and Jacksonville's history, regardless of what you think it says about your opinions of JSO.
You are the one implying the I have called all JSO "bad apples" or called them all criminals:

Maybe, as you obviously have such strong opinions about it, and agree with me that there are problems with the JSO, as evidenced in films and FBI documents, you could take a moment out of your schedule and tell us what you think solutions to it might be.
It would be refreshing if, for once, you'd actually show us how right you are instead if spending all of this time trying to prove how wrong we are by twisting words.

| Oh I see, you just want to complain about what you see as problems and dump the solutions on others. Do you think maybe the movie was made to make money? The FBI documents you cite state that JSO participated in the investigation along with other agencies. Think maybe they want to get rid of their bad apples too? If I get robbed or something, should I call you or the JSO knowing you think they'll probably just beat me up, shoot me or frame me for murder? That's what they do right?
