| Stigma (4/8/2008) Players Rising and Falling as projected by Josh Buchanan:
Rising:
Rd 3- 3-66 Kansas City- WR/RS Dexter Jackson, Appalachian State, 5’9, 179, 4.37
Falling:
Rd 6-20-186 Washington- OT Carl Nicks, Nebraska , 6’5, 341, 5.15
And he also has OT Jeff Otah going #5 overall. He has Seattle reaching on RB Chris Johnson in the 1st round after they just signed Julius Jones and T. Duckett. He has the Giants taking a WR in the first round. He has Eddie Royal being drafted before Desean Jackson at WR. You are putting stock in this guy's evaluations? I may not be the best draft analyst, but all of those picks seem pretty bad.

| Its Meier Time (4/8/2008)
I don't buy the whole Quentin Groves is too small theory. Look at his size compared to other d-ends in the league. He's bigger than KGB, Aaron Schobel, and Robert Mathis. The fact remains, he's an explosive pass rusher and we know the number 1 need for this team is just that. A pass rushing defensive end. I definitely think that the Jags would take Quentin Groves over Lawrence Jackson in Rd 1. I think that the Jags would prefer to take Phillip Merling if he fell and I think they are all over Jeff Otah if he falls. I think the Jags would consider taking the OG/OT from Virginia if he fell to them. In the end I think the Jags will have to choose between: Gosder Cherilus - OT - Boston College and Quentin Groves - DE - Auburn In this case, I think they choose Cherilus, but if Cherilus is gone say to Seattle or Pittsburgh and only Groves is left available I could see the Jags taking Quentin Groves. |

Yeah, I do put a lot of stock in this guys opinion. I also believe that it is possible that Jeff Otah is a Top 10 Pick. As far as Chris Johnson, he just may be the next Clinton Portis, that is when Portis was really special. Believe it or not, but there are many scouts who think that Eddie Royal could be that next great return guy in the NFL coming out in this draft. DeSean Jackson is a beanpole who maybe fast but when some Safety hits him he will be on IR before the season is half over. |

Yeah, I see them having to choose between those same guys. I would add Kentwan Balmer to the mix also. Do you think Calais Campbell is no longer an option in the first now? I am leaning that way.

OK, if you say so. Anything could happen I guess. BTW, Marvin Harrison is pretty much a beanpole and he is decent.

| | I see Calais Campbell being taken either by the Redskins or the Titans. I am not a fan of Kentwan Balmer. DeSean Jackson is not even 170 Lbs soaking wet. Name: *DeSean Jackson College: California Number: 1 Height: 5-10 Weight: 169 Position: WR Pos2: KR Class/Draft Year: Jr/2008 40 Time: 4.35 40 Low: 4.27 40 High: 4.43 I know he has skills, but he is very tiny to be a featured WR. Perhaps he will fall to the Colts in Rd 2 and he and Peyton can take long hot showers together for many years into the future.

| pcjagfan1146 (4/9/2008) Titans are more likely to take Groves than Campbell.I am now thinking the Titans will take a WR and Campbell and Groves both will fall to the Jags. `Big slow guy or small quick guy. Tough call.
