| Chooch (4/2/2008) As both my Physics and Thermodynamics professors taught me, F=MA baby.
The force applied to any object is measured in terms of pounds-force (lbf) and is aproduct of the mass of an object, say someone named Maurice Jones-Drew, and the acceleration applied to that object, the change in both direction and velocity that is imparted on M. Jones-Drew's body.
ACtually the correct term would be Newtons not Pounds-force. You imperialists have been getting on my nerves for too long now.
I always come to my conclusions by careful, scientific observation.
But only if the results of said careful, scientific observation fully corroborate my biased opinion. If It Ain't Dutch, It Ain't Much

Maybe if you guys would express pressure in something a little more useful we wouldn't have had to make our own. Exactly who thought of a Pascal anyway? Seriously, 1 pascal = 0.000145037738 pounds per square inch, how is that useful?
Go heavy early.
You do not maintain perfection, you work for it everyday.

Pascal thought of the Pascal and it makes perfect sense. 1 MPa = 1000 N / Square millimeter. Doesn't get any better then that!
