After sitting here for a minute and thinking it kind of hit me that we could switch to a 3-4 defense, with Big John at Nose Tackle and our 4 linebackers playing behind him. Wouldn't that be a 1-4 defense? I don't think that would work.

Wouldn't that be a 1-4 defense? I don't think that would work. What about a 2-5? A pair of big hosses with their hands down and 5 linebackers, 3 which will roam the middle and two who would be sent on a blitz every down. |

| John Kreese (4/3/2008) how about just a ton of line backers.
Really what would happen if NOONE lined up on the d-line and we put all of the LBs/gunners in (nkang & friends) as if it were a special teams play. As fast as Starks and Nkang get there on kick returns I think putting them a few yards back wouldn't be much less of a pass rush then slower guys on the line. =D |

| Molter (4/2/2008) John Henderson is maybe the only DT to ever triple gap. The man stands 6 foot 7 and weighs 328 pounds.Excellent point. The Jaguars simply need to find one more player like Henderson and they could use a 2 DL formation. Imagine the possibillities if they could find two guys who together could effectively hold the entire line of scrimmage.
