| | For those truly die hard, this article is for you! It breaks down several owners and agents view on a proposed moratorium on Free Agency. The following excerpt gives a decent overview of its impact: " ...the moratorium [is] a dead period of five to seven days before the start of free agency during which teams can talk only to agents. No team discussions with others' free agents. No contracts negotiated. No face-to-face visits with others' free agents..."
As an example, the Jacksonville Front Office could have had discussions only with Jerry Porter's agent, not Porter himself, in the five days just prior to Free Agency.
Go heavy early.
You do not maintain perfection, you work for it everyday.
